NAICS 532490 (Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing), product or service code W099 (Lease/Rental of Equipment - Miscellaneous). Place of performance: Georgia 31314. Solicitation number WINN-FY27-GENLEASE-SS-001.
The Department of the Army is conducting market research to identify capable commercial sources for a potential firm-fixed-price service requirement at Winn Army Community Hospital, Fort Stewart, Georgia. The anticipated requirement is for contractor-furnished temporary backup power generation equipment, including a generator and compatible transformer, to support the hospital chiller plant during planned or unplanned power outages.
The contractor would provide equipment lease/rental, transition or installation as required, testing and commissioning, 24/7 operational readiness, preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring, emergency response, and removal/decommissioning at the end of performance. The Government seeks input regarding available commercial solutions, transition approach, equipment availability, schedule, pricing structure, and small-business capability.
This notice is for market-research purposes only and is not a solicitation or commitment to award. The Government has not determined whether existing temporary-power equipment will be available to a successor contractor. Respondents should address their ability to sustain an existing system, if lawfully made available, and to provide a replacement system if necessary.
Attachment: A Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached for market-research reference. The draft PWS is preliminary, subject to revision, and provided solely to assist interested parties in assessing capability. It is not a solicitation, request for quotation, request for proposal, or commitment by the Government. Respondents are encouraged to identify any requirements that may unnecessarily restrict competition and recommend commercially reasonable alternatives.
