CT Scanner

The scope encompasses the complete procurement, implementation, and lifecycle support of a CT scanner system for a hospital in California.

This RFI solicitation document is being issued for market research to obtain general information from suppliers about their products, services, and capabilities to assist the County in the development and issuance of a potential future Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation for (insert departments name). Proposers may be requested to perform product demonstrations.

Please provide detailed information regarding your solution for each of the following categories, specifying whether features are standard, optional, or third-party integrations.

• Core Hardware: CT scanner system, associated hardware, patient table, gantry, operator console, reconstruction systems, and required accessories.
• Clinical Applications & Software: Acquisition protocols, advanced clinical applications, image reconstruction, image processing, and dose optimization software.
• Ancillary Equipment: Contrast administration equipment and proposed injector integration.
• Connectivity & Integration: DICOM connectivity and seamless integration with existing PACS, RIS, EHR, and other hospital systems.
• Site Planning & Infrastructure: Facility assessment, shielding requirements, electrical, HVAC, cooling, network utilities, equipment delivery, and rigging plans.
• Implementation & Support: Installation, acceptance testing, clinical applications training, and go-live support.
• Maintenance & Lifecycle: Preventative and corrective maintenance, parts availability, technical support, warranty details, service agreements, software upgrades, cybersecurity support, and equipment lifecycle planning.

Submission deadline

Proposals must be electronically received by **1:00 pm, on Wednesday, November 11, 2026** via the County's eProcurement system.

Allow sufficient time for the upload to complete by the Due Date and Time. Partial uploads will automatically terminate, and proposals will be rejected. The eProcurement system submission time will be the official submission time.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Min of 5 years of experience supplying and installing CT in California Hospitals
2. HCAI Special Seismic Certification Preapproval (OSP)
