Recreation Services for Boxing Classes

The City of Turlock (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide recreational boxing instruction for youth and/or adults through the City’s Recreation Division. The selected contractor will plan, organize, and deliver safe, engaging, and skill-appropriate classes that promote physical fitness, coordination, confidence, and positive recreation opportunities for participants of varying ages and ability levels.

The selected contractor will also provide a suitable location for all classes and related program activities. The proposed facility must be safe, accessible, appropriately equipped, and adequate to support the planned boxing instruction.

Programs may include beginner through advanced instruction, seasonal classes, camps, clinics, and special events.

**Proposal Submittals:** Proposers shall submit through the City’s OpenGov Procurement Portal. No hard copy proposals or proposals submitted in any other manner as that prescribed within this RFP will be accepted.

Prospective proposers are responsible for monitoring the City’s eProcurement Portal located at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofturlock for any significant changes or addenda.

**Approval of Contract:** January 12, 2027- Subject to Change

The term of the sample *Service Provider Agreement* shall be Five (5) year(s) and will commence on the Effective Date.

The sample agreement requires commercial general liability insurance of no less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence and Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) general aggregate, workers' compensation insurance as required by the State of California, employer’s liability insurance of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) per accident, automobile liability insurance, and Sexual Abuse or Molestation insurance of not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence.
