Design Build for Dumpster Enclosure @ 90 Hansell Street

The City of Marietta will accept sealed proposals until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2026 for the following:

**PROPOSAL NO. RFP-27-54174** DESIGN BUILD FOR DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE AT 90 HANSELL STREET

This design build project is to construct an enclosure to house up to 9 typical front load 8-yard dumpsters and allow servicing by front load garbage trucks that sit on a one-way street with the construction start date beginning January 4, 2027.

**Submission method:** The City of Marietta shall receive sealed proposals electronically through BidNetDirect.com platform. New vendors must register (at no charge) through the BidnetDirect.com link below, before they can download bid documents at: https://www.bidnetdirect.com/georgia/cityofmarietta.

Names of vendors submitting proposals shall be read at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 19, 2026 at the City of Marietta Purchasing Division, First Floor, 205 Lawrence Street, Marietta, Georgia 30060. A public opening of proposals will not occur at the date and time indicated above.

Any proposal not withdrawn shall, upon opening, constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of 180 days.

**Bid guarantee:** Each bid shall include a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount as guarantee that the bidder shall not withdraw the bid for 90 days after the scheduled bid opening. Upon execution and delivery of the contract, the bidder shall furnish the City a performance bond for the full amount of the contract. Upon execution and delivery of the contract, the bidder shall furnish the City of Marietta a payment bond for the full amount of the contract.

• Worker's Compensation Insurance Statutory
• Comprehensive General Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 per person, $1,000,000 per occurrence
• Automobile Liability Insurance including: $1,000,000 combined single limit

There shall be a **Mandatory** Pre-proposal conference. We strongly recommend that you visit the location site to familiarize yourself with the area which is located at approximately 90 Hansell Street.
