2027 Request For Proposal

The Township of Barnegat, Ocean County, New Jersey, in accordance with Chapter 10 of the General Code of the Township of Barnegat Sections 19, 20, 21, will receive Requests for Proposals For 2027 Professional Services.

The Township of Barnegat solicits statements of qualifications for applicants for appointment for the following professional positions. Response should address the general criteria and mandatory minimum criteria for the position sought.

Unless otherwise noted appointments should be for the calendar year 2027 and subject to the execution of an appropriate contract.

Professional Services Contracts to be awarded by criteria established pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44-01 et seq.

Submission

All bidders are required to submit a total of four (4) proposals – Three (3) hard copy and one (1) CD's, for each position applied, of their complete set of proposals in a **sealed envelope** addressed to the Township of Barnegat, 900 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ 08005 to the Attention of the Municipal Clerk and clearly marked "2027 Professional Services" (on the outermost exterior) with the name and address of the bidder and Request for Proposal enclosed. Proposals may be hand-delivered or mailed, however, the Township disclaims any responsibility for bids forwarded by the U.S. Mail and/or Overnight Mail Carriers and that are received after the bid opening deadline.

If you are submitting a proposal for the Planning Board and/or Board of Adjustment-each Board must receive, four (4) proposals, three (3) hard copy and one (1) CD copies of the proposal.

Proposals will be accepted up until **November 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM** at the office of the Municipal Clerk, 900 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ 08005.

**Insurance** (**required**)

General Liability limits of **$1,000,000.00** each occurrence and **$1,000,000.00** aggregate products and completed operations. Worker's Compensation Insurance Statutory Coverage, including employer's liability coverage.

All responses should be treated as confidential and reviewed only by the Mayor and Township Committee, unless otherwise required by law.
