Program Opportunity Notice (PON) for Commercialization Cohort Programs (Commercialization), seeking Program Administrators to administer accelerator programs on behalf of NYSERDA.
The Commercialization Cohort Programs will support climate-tech innovators to bring their technology to market, starting from the earliest stages to full commercial scale up. The program will launch four accelerators that span the continuum of the start-up journey, with programming that builds on each other in successive stages.
The objective is to fund accelerator programs that support companies in a cohort format, where a group of companies with a strong NYS-nexus are selected and participate in programming together. Companies will receive training, mentoring support, and direct grant funding to reach key adoption milestones.
Round 1 of this PON seeks to solicit Program Administrators to administer two Topic Areas of the Commercialization Cohort program: Topic Area 1) Pre-seed accelerator, Topic Area 2) Series A-B accelerator.
NYSERDA intends to make one award per Topic Area, for a total of two awards in Round 1. Each proposer is eligible to be awarded for a maximum of one award. Each awarded contract is expected to have a maximum contract duration of four years, with two 24-month options to renew. NYSERDA reserves the right to extend and/or add funding to the Solicitation should other program funding sources become available.
