Daniel D. Tompkins Roof Project

The intent of these specifications is to provide information to potential bidders and receive proposals for Single Prime General Work contract for the Daniel D. Tompkins Building Roof Project.

The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:

- Roofing and exterior envelope work at Daniel D Tompkins Building.

Project will be constructed under a Single Prime Contract, all the work identified in these documents are the responsibility of the Single Prime Contractor.

**Submission method:** Proposals and any other required documents shall be submitted online through the Procurement Portal. Please allow ample time to upload and complete your submission prior to the deadline.

Bids are due by **December 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm**, local time. Bid opening to be conducted on December 1, 2026, at 3:00 pm, local time, via Zoom virtual meeting.

Lowest responsible bidder in accordance with New York State General Municipal Law.

Each Bidder shall furnish with its Bid a Bid Bond in an amount equal to **five percent (5%)** of the total amount of the Base Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New York as Surety.

Payment Bond: **100% of Contract value**. Performance Bond: **100% of Contract value**.

The term of this contract begins upon contract award expected by January 1, 2027, through August 1, 2027.

Subject to Owner's prior approval of timing, Bidders will be permitted access to Project site on Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm except legal holidays.
