The Contractor is responsible for hauling, lawful disposal, manifests, receipts, and compliance with all applicable waste-management requirements. Before demolition, the Contractor shall verify utility shutoff, disconnection, capping, or abandonment as required by the applicable utility provider and authority having jurisdiction. [...] Following demolition, the Contractor shall locate and properly cap or otherwise terminate the existing sanitary sewer service connection in accordance with the requirements of the Village of Owego and any other authority having jurisdiction.

Backfill, compaction, and final grading of the site following demolition shall be performed by the Tioga County Department of Public Works and are not included in the Contractor’s scope of work under this Contract.
