Purchase & Installation of Modular Guard Stations at the Jefferson County Public Safety Building

The Jefferson County Public Safety Building and County Corrections are seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to design, fabricate, supply and install 5 newly constructed Modular Guard Stations that are in Pods 1A,1B,2A,2B and 3A of the jail.

The contractor shall have the necessary personnel, technical expertise, equipment and resources to complete the project in accordance with applicable building codes, safety requirements and facility security protocols. The selected contractor will be expected to coordinate closely with facility administration, maintenance personnel and security staff to minimize disruptions to daily operations. Meanwhile maintaining the safety and security of the staff, the incarcerated individuals and visitors throughout the project.

Builder is responsible for constructing five (5) Modular New Guard Stations with all to include elevated platforms. These platforms should be minimum 14 inches in height, no more than 16 inches in height. There will be a center wall section that is roughly 65 inches in width, 52 inches in height built using dimensional 2x4 wood construction. There will be two (2) wing walls that attach to the center section. These wing wall dimensions will be roughly 29 inches wide, 52 inches in height and constructed by dimensional 2x4 wood construction. Finishes to the wall detail will consist of Oak, while the workstations will be Formica. (Please refer to the attached images).

Sealed Proposals will be received electronically via the Jefferson County Purchasing Department's webpage: https://www.jeffersoncountyny.gov/departments/Purchasing/OpenSolicitationsandBidOpportunities or in person or via mail at: Jefferson County, 195 Arsenal Street, Watertown, New York 13601 until **MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2026, AT 3:00PM, EST**. Proposals may not be submitted via fax or email, and Proposals received after this deadline will not be eligible for consideration.

If submitting by mail or in person, proposals should be in a sealed envelope marked with the name of the RFP and the words "SEALED PROPOSAL" written on the outside of the envelope. Please submit two (2) copies - one (1) original unbound and one (1) copy.

The initial contract term shall be from Date of Award until Final Completion & Acceptance by the County.
