Notice of Auction Sale of Liberty Street Park Covered Shelters

Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 160A-270(b), the City of Winston-Salem will conduct an on-line only electronic auction sale of (2) covered shelters located at 1551 North Liberty Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. The shelters will be auctioned individually and are sold as is.

The shelters are approximately 70 feet x 25 feet with wood post & truss structures and red metal roofs. Shelter #1 is open air. Shelter #2 has brick restrooms and (12) aluminum garage doors.

Removal of the shelters is the responsibility of the winning bidders and shall be completed within **30 days** of auction. The winning bidder(s) must coordinate site access with the City of Winston-Salem Recreation & Parks Department. The City of Winston-Salem will disconnect all utilities prior to removal.

All information available will be provided on the rogersauctiongroup.com listing. An Open House to view the shelters and conduct all necessary due diligence will be held from **12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on October 27, 2026**.

Bids may be placed between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, **November 6, 2026**, with bids closing at exactly **4:00:00 pm**. A buyer’s premium of **10%** will be added to the winning bid.
