RFQ for FFE Public Safety Buildings - Addendum #1

Addendum #1 to the Request for Qualifications for FFE Design, City of Bowling Green – New Fire Stations. Issued 11-4-2026.

Furnishings are intended to be purchased directly through the State Term Supplier.

At this time installation is expected to occur within the same time frame for both stations. Furniture installation is not anticipated to be required on the same day at both stations.

Questions / Responses

• The supplier affiliation should be clearly stated in the SoQ.
• This project anticipates a typical payment mechanism of 50% due at time of furniture order and the remaining 50% due upon completion of furniture delivery and installation. This is subject to revision at the City's discretion.
• Anticipate prevailing wage for installation.
• Partnering arrangements should be clearly identified in the SoQ. Anticipate the furniture dealer holds the contract.
• List any anticipated subcontractors / subconsultants in the SoQ and provide the required information indicated in the RFQ for each subcontractor / subconsultant anticipated.
• Teaming (if necessary) will be the responsibility of the submitter. A list of firms expressing interest will not be made available at this time.
• Provide certificates of insurance with the SoQ submission. Provide a level of insurance adequate to cover the values stated in the RFQ.
• Progress billing frequency, approval process, payment timing, retainage and eligibility of supplier deposits or stored materials will be established during the RFP process.
