Manzanita Entry Canopy

High Desert Education Service District is seeking bids for the Manzanita Entry Canopy Project, located in Deschutes County, Oregon.

Sealed bids will be received by Nick Viggiano, Director of Facilities, High Desert Education Service District, at the Manzanita Building Front Desk, 1212 NE 5th Street, Redmond, OR, 97756. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bidding documents are those prepared by BBT Architects, 1140 SW Simpson Ave, #200, Bend, OR 97702. Bidding documents may be obtained online at OregonBuys https://oregonbuys.gov/.

The scope of work for this bid includes, but is not limited to the following:

- A new exterior canopy outside of an existing building, demolition of existing sidewalk and ramp, new concrete sidewalks, ramps and railings, and new parking striping.

Submission

Sealed bids will be received by Nick Viggiano, Director of Facilities, High Desert Education Service District, at the Manzanita Building Front Desk, 1212 NE 5th Street, Redmond, OR, 97756, by **10:00 AM** current local time. Bids received after the required time and date time will not be considered.

The envelope containing the Bid form and required attachments must be sealed and addressed to High Desert Education Service District, Deschutes County, Oregon, 1212 NE 5th Street, Redmond, OR 97756, and marked on the outside: "Manzanita Entry Canopy", with name of the Bidder and its Oregon State Construction Contractor's Board Registration Number.

This project is a **PREVAILING WAGE** project therefore no bid will be received or considered unless the Bid contains a statement by the bidder, as part of the bid, that "Contractor agrees to be bound by and will comply with the applicable provisions of 279C.838, 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148."

Bid Security and Bonds

Bid security shall be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid plus any positive alternate amounts.

The Successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract sum.

Award

If the District determines that a contract is to be awarded, it will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.

Pre-bid meeting

A **MANDATORY** pre-bid meeting will be held on November 16, 2026, 9:00 AM current local time at the project location.
