Miles Johnson Water Booster Station Pump Addition

Separate sealed bids for the MILES JOHNSON WATER BOOSTER STATION PUMP ADDITION will be received by the City of Spring Hill, Tennessee at City Hall, 199 Town Center Parkway, Spring Hill, Tennessee 37174 until **2:00 P.M., local time, on Tuesday, November 10th, 2026**, and then at said time publicly opened and read aloud.

Project consists of the following:

Addition of a new pump to be Peerless Model 5AE11 with 150 HP motor and duty point of 1,440 gpm at 270 TDH and associated equipment as specified in the project documents and all work including site work, piping, concrete slab, diesel generator, VFD and electrical panel additions, and all incidental work necessary for a complete and operable project.

All bids must be made out on the *Bid Form* bound in the contract documents, and the *Bid Form* should not be detached from the contract documents. Bids will not be opened from Bidders who have not obtained the contract documents from the Engineer.

Electronic copies of both plans and specifications may be obtained from THOMAS & HUTTON upon the NON-REFUNDABLE payment of **$75.00** per set. Upon request by the bidder, paper copies of the plans may be purchased for an additional **$75.00** per set.

All Bidders must be **licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee** in strict accordance with State regulations. No bid will be opened unless the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: the name, license number, the date of the license's expiration, and the classification of the contractors applying to the bid for the prime contract and for electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning contracts (if applicable to the project), except when the bid is in an amount less than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000).

With the bid, each Bidder must deposit security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, subject to the conditions stated in the *Instructions to Bidders*. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required for the successful Bidder. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening.
