Lubricants, Antifreeze, Grease, Hydraulic Fluids, & Related Products

Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 is seeking bids from qualified and interested vendors for the purchase of Lubricants, Anti-freeze, Grease, Hydraulic Fluids and Related Products as herein specified. Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 will contract with the lowest responsible bidder which meets all specifications and requirements contained herein. All purchases of Lubricants, Anti-freeze, Grease, Hydraulic Fluids and Related Products will be on an "As Needed Basis" only.

Compliance with all specifications and conditions is required. All bidders shall abide by & comply with the true intent of the specifications and not take advantage of any unintentional error or omission.

Depending on product container size, the Drainage District has the option to choose to purchase from Category 1 or 2 or both. Specific Line-Item description of products and sizes are listed in the Pricing Proposal (Bid Tab) section of the solicitation.

Category 1

Provide Lubricants, Anti-freeze, Grease, Hydraulics Fluids and Related Shop Products as listed in Pricing Proposal (Bid Tab) including but not limited to the following sizes: Pint, Quart, 1 Gallon, 2.5 Gallon, 5 Gallon, and 55 Gallon container.

• All oil, hydraulic fluid and anti-freeze, and grease shall be furnished and priced in sizes as specified on Pricing Proposal (Bid Tab), with unbroken seals, that are sealed by the manufacturer.
• Each container shall be labeled or bear a decal or placard indicating the name and grade of the lubricant, including but not limited to, all specifications of the product contained therein.

Category 2

FOR BULK ORDERS, Lubster Steel Bulk Tank(s) of at least 200+ gallons must be available at no additional cost to the Drainage District with refilling services (on an as basis). Provide tanks and various types of lubricants/oils/grease to fill bulk tanks as requested, but not limited to: Motor oils, Hydraulic fluids and anti-freeze etc.

• Provide & set up Lubster tank(s)- of at least 200+-gallon capacity (the number of tanks will be determined by the Drainage District).
• Tanks must be equipped with all necessary oil dispensing equipment (i.e., meter gun, gauges, reels, air pump, hoses (50 ft. –re-enforced etc.)
• Refilling of tanks will be on a same day delivery basis; multiple refills will be given up to, but no longer than five (5) days.

Delivery

Bidders shall deliver the products ordered within 24 hours on an "as needed basis".

**Only sealed bids will be accepted.** Unsigned bids will not be considered. Bids received after bid date and time will not be considered.

It is **mandatory** that attached Pricing Proposal (Bid Tab) be used to submit pricing information. Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) information must be submitted with bid for all products in the bid.

All bids shall be evaluated on all factors involved, i.e., price, quality and service, etc., whichever is in the best interest of Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1.

Contract will be awarded for the initial one (1) year term with the Hidalgo County Drainage District No.1 sole option to extend the contract for an additional one (1) year under the same rates, terms and conditions. Bid prices are to remain firm from Bid Award Date and continue through the duration of contract period(s).

Hidalgo County Drainage District No.1 reserves the right to continue this bid for an additional sixty (60) day grace period at the end of the contract term for unforeseen delay in award of new bid for next contract term.
