RFP #26-018: Server Room Enclosure & Infrastructure Upgrades

The project consists of renovations and system upgrades to the existing data center/server-room area. The construction documents identify an approximate 4,070-square-foot renovation area.

The project is located at the TCC Trinity River Campus, 300 Trinity Campus Circle, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, Building ID TCRF (Clear Fork).

The work is anticipated to be performed under one lump-sum construction contract and includes all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, coordination, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The scope includes selective demolition; modifications to the existing raised access floor; new demountable fire-rated enclosure construction and welded-wire security partitions; doors, hardware, ceilings, finishes, signage, and firestopping; and modifications to access control, security, and related technology systems.

The work also includes substantial MEP upgrades, including removal of existing computer-room air-conditioning equipment and installation of new CRAH units; chilled-water piping, condensate and domestic-water connections; BAS controls and integration; modifications to fire suppression, VESDA smoke detection, FM-200/clean-agent systems, and fire alarm systems; electrical distribution and equipment connections; lighting and lighting controls; and reconfiguration of the emergency-power-off systems.

By submitting a bid, the contractor(s) agree that their work will be in compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations in effect at the time of the bid submittal.

Contractor to coordinate demolition activities with owner so as to maintain full functionality of adjacent owner occupied spaces. Contractor to maintain means of egress pathways at all times.

All work and/or materials shall be installed by a licensed contractor and shall conform to all applicable national and local building and mechanical codes.
