Two (2) Animal Transport Vehicles

The City of Lubbock is looking to purchase 2 (two) ¾ ton chassis with animal transport body for Lubbock Animal Services.

This Invitation to Bid is for your convenience in submitting an offer for the specified services.

**Submission method:** Bidders may submit bids electronically by uploading required documents at the City of Lubbock’s partner website, Bonfire. If submitting electronically, do not submit paper documents. If you choose to submit in hard copy, submit one original paper copy of your submittal to the office of the Director of Purchasing and Contract Management.

Sealed bids or electronic submittals through the Bonfire portal, shall be received until **November 24, 2026 prior to 2:00 P.M.** Please allow time to upload required documentation. 24hrs in advance is recommended.

Bids will be accepted in person, by United States Mail, by United Parcel Service, or by private courier service. THE CITY WILL NOT ACCEPT FAX BIDS.

Bid prices must be firm for a minimum period of sixty (60) days.

The contract may be awarded either to the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the City of Lubbock. [...] All bids are evaluated for compliance with specifications before the bid price is considered.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS -N/A

The City will also have the option to charge the vendor a fee of $50.00 per vehicle per day for late delivery.
