Public Safety Building HVAC Improvements

The City of Anacortes will accept sealed bids online for “Public Safety Building HVAC Improvements #C2026-0233” until **3:00 p.m., local time on November 17 2026**, when bids will be publicly opened and read through Zoom.

This project consists of the replacement of 1 split system AC condensing unit and indoor air handler direct expansion cooling coil with like kind equipment, and associated accessories and controls at the Anacortes Public Safety Building, 1218 24th St, Anacortes, WA 98221.

Physical Completion shall be achieved within **210 calendar days**, in accordance with the notice to proceed.

Sealed Bids are to be submitted online to City of Anacortes eProcurement portal, Bonfire, at https://anacortes.bonfirehub.com no later than due date and time listed in solicitation document. Bids cannot be accepted if submitted by hard copy, mail, facsimile, or e-mail.

A **mandatory** pre-bid walk-through will be held at 2pm on November 4, 2026 at the City of Anacortes Public Safety Building, 1218 24th St, Anacortes, WA 98221.

Bidders must submit a bid deposit equal to **5 percent** of the bid amount. The deposit may be in cashier’s check, postal money order, or surety bond and must be delivered before the bid submittal deadline to the City of Anacortes, City Clerk, PO Box 547, 904 6th St, Anacortes, WA 98221. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bonds for the faithful performance of the work, as prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
