The Kanawha County Schools’ Purchasing Department is soliciting bids for the purchase of 2025, or latest model year, Chevrolet 3500, 4x4, Full Size, Regular Cab Service Truck with Options.

The Vendor must also state Manufacturer/Brand, Model & Number, and Days to Delivery.

Kanawha County Schools may wish to purchase additional half ton trucks as funds become available. If the Vendor wishes to honor the above pricing firm on an "open-end" and continuous basis until otherwise determined by the manufacturer please indicate so below. The Vendor's willingness to hold pricing beyond the initial purchase volume stated above will not be considered part of the bid evaluation.

Submission

Please submit responses via the Kanawha County Schools Bonfire Portal: https://kanawhacs.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities or via sealed submission to: KANAWHA COUNTY SCHOOLS, PURCHASING OFFICE, 3300 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, CHARLESTON, WEST VIRGINIA 25302-4697.

Responses will be accepted until **1:30 PM, Wednesday, November 11, 2026**.

A pre-bid meeting will not be held prior to bid opening.

Questions must be submitted in writing through the Bonfire Portal on or before **November 4, 2026 – 1:30 P.M.**

Terms

• This Contract is for the purchase of a set quantity of goods that are identified in the specifications included herewith. Once those items have been delivered, no additional goods may be procured under this Contract, unless as mutually agreed upon. See Pricing Page.
• The pricing set forth herein is firm for the life of the Contract, unless specified elsewhere within this Solicitation/Contract by the County.
• Payment for Vehicles will be by Check at time of delivery.
• All quotations are considered freight on board destination ("F.O.B. destination") unless alternate shipping terms are clearly identified in the bid.
• Vendors may bid alternates to a listed model or brand provided that the alternate is at least equal to the model or brand and complies with the required specifications.
• The County may accept or reject any bid in whole, or in part.
• Vendor is not required to accept the County’s Purchasing Card as payment for all goods and services.
• All Vendors are required to sign, and submit the *Purchasing Affidavit*. The affidavit must be submitted prior to award, but should be submitted with the Vendor’s bid.
