Cabling Services for E-Rate Funding Year 27-28

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for Category 6 UTP ethernet compliant cabling materials and installation for twenty-six (26) District sites. TUSD seeks a 2-year contract for Internal Connections, and about half of the sites will be purchased in Funding Year 2027 and the remaining sites in Funding Year 2028. Pricing and quantities must be firm for both years of the contract, though a contingency amount may be included in the Offeror’s bid to accommodate possible site substitutions, in the event of school closure(s).

Tucson Unified School District has dramatically increased network traffic in recent years. This project will support the expansion of current and future network traffic through installation of network wiring, and Outdoor Access Points (OAP), and related equipment.

Offerors must include their E-Rate SPIN (Service Provider Identification Number), FCC Registration Number, and evidence of green light status.

Adhere and comply with all requirements of the product Manufacturer.

Offeror shall include details of its extended product warranty and system assurance with proposal response

**Submission method:** Each Offer shall be submitted electronically through OpenGov. Responses must be submitted electronically to https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/tusd1 by **December 1, 2026, 2:00 pm**. An offer submitted via facsimile or by physical mail shall be rejected.

The proposal that is deemed to most cost-effectively meet the stated Applicant requirements and therefore is in the best interest of the Applicant, will be selected.

A purchase order will be issued upon a favorable funding commitment decision, but no sooner than July 1, 2027 for contract year one (1) and July 1, 2028 for contract year two (2), in accordance with TUSD accounting procedures. To ensure funding availability, all contractor invoicing to TUSD must be issued no later than June 30, 2028 for contract year one (1) and June 30, 2029 for contract year two (2); in the event of delayed funding commitment or delivery delays, extensions may be allowed.
