Equestrian Center Bagged Shavings

The Escambia County Equestrian Center is requesting quotes for bagged shavings for FY26-27 year. We are requesting 7 semi-trailer loads of the large flake bags throughout the years (quantities not guaranteed). Parks staff will unload via forklift and pallet jack. We require a truck that is loaded in a manner in which we can use a pallet jack, which does not have a grooved floor, and with all pallets in good condition.

Escambia County is accepting electronic quote submissions. Bidders shall create a FREE account with OpenGov Procurement by signing up at https://procurement.opengov.com/signup. All bidders must fill out pricing table on OpenGov by **Friday, November 13th at 5:00pm**.

Required with the submission

• Confirmation that this is a written quote request, not a formal bid or solicitation.
• Confirmation that the pricing submitted in the *Pricing Table* is valid for the purposes of this written quote request.
• The number of bagged shavings per each load.
• Proof of Sunbiz registration in the submission packet for the quote. Vendors outside the State of Florida are still eligible to participate in purchases with Escambia County, but you must register in Sunbiz before we can issue a payment or finalize the award.
• A copy of your *W-9*. If awarded the quote, the department will need your W9 to add you to our system for issuing a Purchase Order.
