As part of Georgia DOT’s Digital Delivery initiative, an upcoming project (PI#0016469, currently scheduled for the December 2026 letting) will be let using a Model as Legal Deliverable (MALD) approach. Under MALD, specific elements of the digital design model will serve as contractual deliverables in addition to the traditional construction documents and plans package.

The Digital Deliverables for this project are listed in the plans package under an Index of Files in the 01 Series. Accompanying each file in the table is a unique 64 digit, SHA-256 Hash Code. This code ensures that contractual digital deliverable files provided with the bid package have not been modified.

QUANTITIES SHOWN HEREIN ARE FOR INFORMATION ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR BIDDING PURPOSES. THE DEPARTMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THESE QUANTITIES WITHOUT NOTICE.

The project is anticipated to be let as a special letting, with the bid package available on BidX on October 23, 2026.

A SHA-256 Verification tool has been developed for the Pilot Project to enable the verification that a Digital Deliverable matches the version certified by the Engineer of Record on the Index of Files. The use of this tool is not required and provided for your convenience.

All iron, steel, coatings and construction materials permanently incorporated into this project must be produced in the United States of America.
