Hancher Audio Consoles

The University of Iowa (hereafter, The University / University) located in Iowa City, Iowa, desires to obtain written proposals from qualified Suppliers to provide audio consoles, accessories, and associated support for Hancher Auditorium.

The University is looking to buy two new audio consoles for Hancher Auditorium as well as related equipment and accessories.

The proposed audio consoles MUST BE the Yamaha PM5 CS-R5 Rivage.

All other proposed equipment and accessories must be compatible with the consoles and each other to form a complete and working system.

Supplier will provide only new and unopened products. Refurbished, used, or previously opened products are not acceptable.

All items must come with the full manufacturer's warranty.

The successful Supplier shall deliver all equipment and items to Hancher Auditorium as directed by the University. The University shall install all equipment, but the Supplier should be available to provide support and troubleshooting throughout the installation process.

Supplier must bid all of the items in this package.

Bids MUST be submitted electronically through the eBid system. Bids submitted by any other means will not be accepted.

Evaluation of proposals will be based on, but not limited to, the following criteria: response to specifications, demonstrated expertise and service record, system technical maintainability and usability, financial responsibility/stability of the Supplier, references of the Supplier, new functionalities, pricing schedule, supplier experience, commitment, and demonstrated understanding.

The University requests that the Supplier's audited financial statements and annual report for the previous two (2) years be submitted as attachments to your response to this RFP.

The University's maximum budget for this order is **$350,000.00**, and the total proposed cost for all items including delivery cannot exceed this amount. A total cost under $300,000.00 is preferable.

The intended term of any award contract that results from this bid, shall be for a period of one (1) year. Thereafter, the Agreement may be extended four (4) additional one-year periods each based upon written mutual agreement.

The response constitutes an offer by the Supplier which shall remain open and irrevocable for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the bid due date.
