Base Bid
Roof replacement at an existing facility located at Camp Dodge. The existing facility consists of multiple buildings with a mixture of asphalt shingle and EPDM membrane roofs. The existing EPDM roof membranes are the focus of the work and will be replaced with new PVC membranes. The existing EPDM systems will be removed down to existing decking and new tapered insulation will be installed to meet current energy codes. Existing asphalt shingle roofs are to remain, though modifications will be required where the roof membranes intersect with shingle roofs. Existing metal gutters, scuppers, downspouts, and facias will be removed and replaced. New concrete pads will be required at new downspout locations.
Bids received will be opened and read aloud at the time indicated. Late bids cannot be considered. Bids must be uploaded on the State of Iowa IMPACS system. Award of this contract is dependent on receiving requested Federal and/or State funding. If such funding is not received within the sixty (60) day bid guarantee after the date of receiving bids, all rights and obligations under this agreement are considered null and void.
