Submission
Bids are to be submitted electronically via IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net until **2:00PM CT, November 20, 2026**. At that time, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud via Zoom Video Conferencing. Supplier registration in IonWave is **required** to submit. Submission of bids will not be allowed after the designated time.
A **Mandatory** Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at **10:00AM CT on November 5, 2026**. Representation is **required** by General/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid.

Bonds
BID BOND: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of **five percent (5.0%)** of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of Directors of the Johnson County Library.
No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
The County reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder for the Work covered by the Base Bid(s) and any approved alternate(s) and to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.
