FRANGIBLE AMMUNITION

Quantities listed on bid are estimates only.

• Item 1: 150,000 Rounds 9mm pistol, Non-Toxic, Lead-Free Frangible ammunition. Packaged 50 rounds per box.
• Item 2: 5,000 Rounds 40 Caliber Pistol, Non-Toxic, Lead-Free, Frangible ammunition. Packaged 50 rounds to the box.
• Item 3: 2,000 Rounds 45 Caliber Pistol, Non-Toxic, Lead-Free Frangible ammunition. Packaged 50 rounds to the box.
• Item 4: 5,000 Rounds 38 Special +P Caliber Pistol, Non-Toxic, Lead-Free Frangible ammunition. Packaged 50 rounds to the box.

**Submission:** Bids/Request for proposals may be submitted to the purchasing division until **10:00 a.m., Wednesday November 18, 2026**. They will be publicly opened at the same time. Sealed bids will be received in the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Purchasing Department, 1233 Westbank Expressway, Room 411, Harvey, Louisiana, 70058. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. You may submit a response in written or electronic form, and may submit electronically with Central Bidding.

Only bids written in ink or typewritten, and properly signed by a member of the firm or authorized representative, will be accepted. Pencil and/or photocopies of signatures disqualify bid.

Samples of ammunition may be requested from vendors before the bid is awarded.

**Award:** Every contract shall be awarded to “Lowest Responsible Bidder”, taking into consideration the conformity with the bid proposal specifications and requirements that were advertised. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office reserves the right to make multiple awards in its best interests.

**Insurance:** The successful bidder will be required to provide Proof of Liability Insurance, if material and/or labor are included in the bid.

**Contract term:** Contract valid for (1) year from date of award letter unless otherwise specified.

The Bid Affidavit, signed and notarized, and Tax Identification Number (TIN) must be provided within ten (10) days of the bidder being notified that he is the lowest bidder.
