Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors for the fabrication, furnishing, and installation of a custom recessed display case system within the Henry L. Dragun Science Building located on the Arnold Campus.
The Work includes, but is not limited to, field verification of dimensions, preparation of shop drawings, fabrication of custom display case components, frameless glass display doors, glass shelving systems, integrated LED lighting, hardware, finishes, delivery, installation, adjustment, and all related labor, materials, equipment, permits, and services necessary to provide a complete and operational custom recessed display case system in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Section Includes:
- Operable glass door panels system for gypsum board wall niche.
Operable glass door panel display frontage system including a structural frame (steel "C" channel), top and bottom, operable hinged glass panels and appropriate mounting hardware; dust minimizing seal package is to be included.
Illumination System: Concealed top-lighting LED system.
Field Measurements: Verify actual dimensions of openings for display system by field measurements before fabrication.
Prior to the award of the contract, the Contractor will provide to the College executed copies of the required Performance and Payment Bond forms as specified in the RFP. The premium for bonds shall be paid by the Contractor. The bonds shall be in full amount of the contract price. Performance and Payment Bonds are **required** when initial contract exceeds **$100,000.00**.
The Contractor shall name Anne Arundel Community College as an additional insured, as well as clearly state that it will hold harmless and defend Anne Arundel Community College, its Board of Trustees and its employees from all liability for loss, damage or injury to person(s) or property in any manner arising out of or incident to the performance of the contract, on the Certificate of Insurance.
The original copy of the Proposal/Bid must be signed in ink by the Contractor's authorized representative, with the signature in full.
Preinstallation Conference: Conduct conference at Project site.
