P-2428 BCC Campus Rooftop Unit Replacement Project

Bergen Community College (the "College") is soliciting Bids for construction related to the BCC Campus Rooftop Unit Replacement Project. The scope of work includes demolishing and replace up to four (4) existing rooftop units (RTU's) at the Pitkin Learning Center at Bergen Community College.

The scope of work includes demolishing and replace up to four (4) existing rooftop units (RTU's) at the Pitkin Learning Center at Bergen Community College. This Paragraph 1 provides only a summary description of the Work; Bidders are referred to the Technical Specifications at Section F (Project Manual and Drawings) for a complete description of the scope of Work.

The site of the Work to be performed under the contract is at the College's main campus, 400 Paramus Road, Pitkin Education Center, Paramus, New Jersey 07652 as is further identified in Section F (Project Manual and Drawings) of the Bid Documents.

**Submission method:** ELECTRONIC BIDS will be received until **10:00 a.m. local time, Wednesday, December 2, 2026**, via the online bidding platform, Euna-Bergen Bids. Bids must be submitted on the Euna-Bergen Bids website under Bergen Community College and the appropriate opportunity. Bidders must register on https://bergenbids.com and establish an account with the electronic bidding platform prior to submitting a bid.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via Webex.

**Bid Bond:** Bid security, in the amount of **ten percent (10%)** of the Bid, must accompany each Bid that is submitted. The Bid Bond must be payable to Bergen Community College, in the form set forth in Section C of the Request for Bids, *Form 00600*.

**Consent of Surety:** Bidders shall provide a certificate from a surety company stating that the surety will provide a Performance Bond in the full amount of the contract price if Bidder is awarded a contract, in the form set forth in *Form 00610*.

**Evaluation:** The Bids will be evaluated in conformance with the requirements of the County College Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 18A:64-25.1 et seq., and the contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsible and complying Bidder.

No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within sixty (60) days after Bid opening.

The successful Bidder shall pay all workers in accordance with the State of New Jersey prevailing wage rates in accordance with the Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 52:32-25 et seq., as amended.
