TRAFFIC SIGNAL REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT, VARIOUS LOCATIONS, CONTRACT NO.: T62017-10E

This contract is for the routine construction, modification, and support of the County's approximately 1600 traffic signal intersections and 300+ miscellaneous devices, 600+ street light devices and related equipment.

Your bid shall be based upon a Notice to Proceed to be issued in the 1st Quarter of 2027.

**Submission:** Sealed Proposals will be received by the County Executive of Nassau County, in the office of the Clerk of the Nassau County Legislature, Room 117, in the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building, 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola, New York, until **10:30 am** on **Tuesday, December 8, 2026**. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

**Security for Bid** as set forth herein must be presented with the Bid. Failure to provide the required security will render the bidder non-responsive and the bid will not be accepted, opened or read aloud.

**Bid documents:** Contract Documents may be examined at the Permit Office of the Department of Public Works, first floor, 1194 Prospect Avenue, Westbury, Nassau County, New York, 11590-2723, Phone No. (516) 571-6840. A non-refundable fee of **$300.00** by check or money order, payable to the Nassau County Treasurer, will be required for each set of Bid Contract Documents purchased from the Permit Office. Only Bid Contract Documents purchased from the Permit Office in this manner will be accepted/considered.

**Required:** Vendors must register with the County. Contractors must be registered with the NYS Department of Labor. All bidders shall submit a MWBE Utilization Plan with their bid. The MWBE specified target for this contract is **16%**. Documents demonstrating participation in approved apprenticeship training programs must be submitted with the bid.

**Subcontractor lists** are required in accordance with GML § 101 where applicable.
