Portable Restroom Rental and Service

The City of Sandusky desires to contract with a vendor to provide Portable Restroom Rentals and Service. The vendor shall be a qualified individual or business that meets the minimum specifications set by the City.

The three-year Agreement shall commence on January 1, 2027, and expire on December 31, 2029, for the placement, rental of unit and services of unit at various locations throughout the City of Sandusky as described below.

All portable restrooms shall either be ADA accessible (ADA) or regular (R), but do not need a service sink inside. All portable restrooms will be required to be cleaned and maintained twice per week on Monday and Thursday of each week.

Vendor shall further be obligated to:

- Deliver equipment to the following park locations no later than the dates listed below. [...]

Special Event Pricing:

The City desires that the awarding vendor provide the same pricing per unit throughout the year for City hosted events.

City-Directed Event Contingency: Additional **$2,500** each year for portable restroom needs for special events (Touch-A-Truck, 5k events, Fishing Tournaments, etc.)

Implementation Timeline

Each Proposer/Contractor shall submit with its Proposal a proposed delivery date for each location specified.

Billing

The Proposer/Contractor shall submit an invoice by the tenth (10th) day after delivery. The invoice should reflect the product details billed for.

Submission

The Proposals shall be submitted in **hard copy**. Electronic copies via e-mail or on disk, and in Adobe Acrobat (*.PDF format) may also accompany but may not substitute for the hard copy. Proposal packages shall be submitted with one original in sealed envelope labeled "Portable Restroom Rental and Service". Proposals received by Fax will not be considered.

Evaluation

The Proposals shall be evaluated on a technical basis prior to being evaluated on a cost basis. The contract shall be awarded based on the lowest and best proposal as defined by Ohio Revised Code Section 721.15(B) that conforms to the specifications of this Request for Proposals.

Insurance

Comprehensive public liability insurance against any liability for injury or death to persons and/or damage to property occurring in, on or about the premises in the amount of **$1,000,000.00** (combined single limit bodily injury and property damage). Policy shall list the City of Sandusky as an insured.

Background Check

At a minimum, the Respondent shall submit a list of five (5) references that can be checked.
