Active Shooter and Workplace Violence Training Services

The purpose of this solicitation is to receive competitive proposals in order to acquire, services which complies with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions for Richland School District Two for the following project: Active Shooter and Workplace Violence Training Services, 26-2710.

Project Description: Richland School District Two (“District”) is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide a coordinated employee training program addressing workplace violence prevention, active shooter and active assailant response, classroom safety, emergency communication, and bleeding control.

Submission

Richland School District Two will accept sealed proposals via the District's e-Procurement Portal. A copy of the RFP is available on the District’s e-Procurement Portal, ProcureNow (OpenGov). All proposals shall be received no later than **1:00 pm on Friday, November 20, 2026**. Late proposals will not be accepted.

The Offeror must certify that the price quoted for the services to be provided is valid for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the Offer. Joint Proposals are not allowed – an offer may be submitted by only one legal entity.

Contract term

The contract period shall be for one (1) years with an option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods, upon satisfactory agreement between Richland Two and Offeror.

Background checks and insurance

The vendor and all representatives of the vendor must have an acceptable background check to enter school property.

• Commercial General Liability with limits no less than **$1,000,000** per occurrence.
• Auto Liability with limits no less than **$1,000,000** per accident for bodily injury and property damage.
• Worker's Compensation with Statutory Limits, and Employer's Liability Insurance with a limit of no less than **$1,000,000** per accident for bodily injury or disease.
