Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering (ICE), on behalf of Lexington County, conducted an Environmental Due Diligence assessment along an approximate 12.5-acre project study area (PSA) on Hass Lucas Road in Lexington County, SC. [...] The PSA runs along the entire length of Hass Lucas Road stretching approximately one mile in length.
This project will result in the paving of the existing dirt road, Hass Lucas Rd.
The proposed paving improvements are anticipated to be conducted along the existing roadway with the area between right-of-way (ROW) being cleared on either side of the existing dirt road. An approximately 0.42-acres of suitable TCB habitat will be cleared based on the latest ROW files.
Within Lexington County, a clearing moratorium between December 15 to February 15, and between May 1 and July 15 would reduce the likelihood of impacts to the tricolored bat.
