Covered Walkways, Metal Buildings, & Metal Roofs

Galena Park Independent School District (“GPISD” or “the “District”) is soliciting proposals for RFP 27-003 Covered Walkways, Metal Buildings, & Metal Roofs. Details are more fully set out in the Request for Proposals (“RFP”).

The intention of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals for Covered Walkways, Metal Buildings, & Metal Roofs including fabrication, installation, and demolition.

GPISD is looking to obtain proposals from vendors that can provide Covered Walkways, Metal Buildings, & Metal Roofs including fabrication, installation, and demolition.

Vendors are encouraged to offer their total line of available products and services that are commonly purchased by governmental entities, school districts, and other public, not-for-profit agencies and organizations. Any applicable Vendor terms and conditions should be included for the products or services offered. GPISD reserves the right to accept or reject any items included by Vendor in this section.

Awards will be made to the successful Vendor(s) for the total line of products and services submitted. Proposals can be made for any or all services and products described herein.

**Submission method:** The district recommends proposers submit their response to this RFP using the GPISD eBid System. The forms listed in the "Response Attachments" tab must be completed, signed, scanned, and attached. Galena Park ISD prefers responses to be submitted online via our electronic system. Submissions may be submitted manually. Manual submissions must be delivered to the Purchasing Department, in a sealed envelope by the close date and time stated in this bid event. No fax or email submissions will be accepted. Manual submission shall consist of one (1) original hard copy and one (1) electronic flash drive.

The Initial Term of the prospective contract is a period of one (1) year. The District may elect, with mutual agreement of the awarded vendor, to extend any contract awarded pursuant to this procurement solicitation for up to four (4) additional one-year terms. The maximum duration of any contract resulting from this procurement is a total of five (5) years.

**Required** attachments: *Form W-9*, *Form 1295*, *Conflict of Interest Questionnaire*, *Certification of Criminal History Record*, *Texas and Federal Certifications*, *Certificate of Liability Insurance*, *Combined Affidavit and DEI-COI for Educational Entities*, and *Reference Form*.

Provide at least three references of governmental entities (school districts preferred) that have purchased services, products, and/or related items from you in the last 3-4 years.

Any proposal received later than the specified time, whether delivered in person or by any other method shall be disqualified.

GPISD is tax-exempt. Proposal prices should not include taxes.
