The intention of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals for Elevator and Wheelchair Lifts Maintenance, Repair and Inspections.
GPISD is looking to obtain proposals from vendors that can provide Elevator and Wheelchair Lifts Maintenance, Repair and Inspections.
It is the intention of GPISD to establish one or more contract(s) with highly qualified Vendor(s) for Elevator and Wheelchair Lifts Maintenance, Repair and Inspections. Vendor(s) shall, at the request of GPISD, provide these products and/or covered services under the terms of this RFP and the Contract set forth in Part 7.0 - General Terms and Conditions.
Vendors are encouraged to offer their total line of available products and services that are commonly purchased by governmental entities, school districts, and other public, not-for-profit agencies and organizations. Any applicable Vendor terms and conditions should be included for the products or services offered. GPISD reserves the right to accept or reject any items included by Vendor in this section.
Awards will be made to the successful Vendor(s) for the total line of products and services submitted. Proposals can be made for any or all services and products described herein.
The good(s) or service(s) to be purchased under the awarded contract, if any, may be of indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity (IDIQ).
Submission method
The district recommends proposers submit their response to this RFP using the GPISD eBid System. The forms listed in the "Response Attachments" tab must be completed, signed, scanned, and attached. Galena Park ISD prefers responses to be submitted online via our electronic system. Submissions may be submitted manually. Manual submissions must be delivered to the Purchasing Department, in a sealed envelope by the close date and time stated in this bid event. No fax or email submissions will be accepted. Manual submission shall consist of one (1) original hard copy and one (1) electronic flash drive.
Contract term
The Initial Term of the prospective contract is a period of one (1) year. The District may elect, with mutual agreement of the awarded vendor, to extend any contract awarded pursuant to this procurement solicitation for up to four (4) additional one-year terms. The maximum duration of any contract resulting from this procurement is a total of five (5) years.
Evaluation
Award(s) will be made to the responsible proposer(s) whose proposal(s) is/are determined, after evaluation by the GPISD Procurement Division, to be the best value to GPISD. A committee selected by GPISD will review and evaluate all proposals and make a recommendation to the GPISD Board of Trustees.
