Meacham Airport Glazing Replacement CPN: 107016

Competitive Sealed Proposals (“Proposals”) for the Meacham Airport Glazing Replacement located at: 201 American Concourse, Fort Worth, Texas, 76106. After evaluating the Proposals submitted, the City shall select the Proposer that offers the best value to the City and enter into negotiations with that firm.

Estimated Construction cost is approximately **$2,705,670.00**. There are three (3) Alternates for this project.

The scope of work consists of: replacement of existing exterior glazing within existing aluminum storefront, curtain wall, and entrance framing; replace of perimeter sealants and related work as indicated.

Remove glazing from existing alum storefront frame. Remove existing sealant and gaskets to prep for new glazing. Remove existing sealant and backer rod from perimeter of existing frame.

Provide new glazing in existing alum storefront frame. Provide new sealant, gaskets, and accessories as required for new glazing installation. Provide new sealant and backer rod around perimeter of existing frame.

Safety and security glazing: provide 3M Scotchshield Ultra S800 glazing film (or approved eq.) at customs/security area meeting a GSA rating of 3A to meet or exceed the protection level required by the governing agency.

Existing suspended artwork is to remain. Contractor shall protect artwork from dust, debris, moisture, wind, and accidental impact during glazing replacement work.

Proposals will be received thru the Bonfire, Website https://fortworthtexas.bonfirehub.com/login until **2:00 P.M on Thursday, December 10, 2026**, and will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately thereafter at Fort Worth City 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.

Proposals shall be valid for ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) calendar days.

Proposals shall include a 7.5% Owner’s Contingency Allowance based on Proposer’s costs proposal on a separate line item on the Proposal form. This Allowance is not to be included in the Base Proposal but will be included in the contract amount at the appropriate time.

A Small Business Utilization goal of 30%

Proposers must submit a **bid bond** with their proposal. Prior to an award of contract, Proposer will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds and provide Contractors General Liability insurance and Statutory Workers Compensation Coverage.
