October 2026 Transformer Request

In accordance with the provisions of Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 252 and 271, GEUS, a municipally owned electric utility and a separate and distinct instrumentality of the City of Greenville, Texas, is requesting submissions to contract with a proven business that has considerable experience in providing goods or services in response to this solicitation.

GEUS is a municipally owned electric utility located in Greenville, Texas. GEUS operates as an independent instrumentality of the City of Greenville and is governed by an independent Board of Trustees.

GEUS provides electrical service to approximately 17,000 meters through 700 miles of distribution line, both overhead and underground.

All pricing shall be submitted in the Line Items section of this solicitation.

All goods shall be delivered FOB Destination to the location designated by GEUS. Title and risk of loss shall remain with the Vendor until the goods have been delivered and accepted by GEUS. All freight, shipping, handling, and delivery costs shall be included in the pricing provided.

The awarded vendor shall invoice GEUS for items once they are shipped. Each invoice should be detailed and include line items for the specific items/ materials ordered.

Submission

Quotes will be accepted until **3:00 PM CT on Friday, November 6, 2026**, and should be submitted electronically via the Euna Procurement Portal at https://geus.ionwave.net. Quotes will not be accepted via mail, email, or fax. Late quotes will not be accepted.

All pricing and rates included in this proposal must be guaranteed for ninety (90) days from the closing date of the bid, and shall remain in effect for the duration of the original purchase order.

Submittals shall be valid and may not be withdrawn for a period of 120 days from the date specified as the Response Due Date.

Insurance

• General Liability with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, including a separate aggregate of $2,000,000 for products and completed operations.
• Automobile Liability with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence or combined single limit.
• Texas Statutory Workers' Compensation and Employers Liability with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 for Each Accident/ Occurrence, Disease – Each Employee and Disease – Policy Limit.
