Traffic Control Services, Statewide

TxDOT is issuing this Request for Proposal ("Solicitation") to establish a contract for the purchase of the goods ("Goods") and/or services ("Services") described in the Statement of Work. TxDOT invites any qualified party to submit a Response.

Services to provide traffic control services statewide for TxDOT. Service must include the provision of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to safely route traffic through highway construction and TxDOT maintenance work zones.

Submission method

Respondent must submit one signed and dated Response through the Procurement Website on or before the Response Deadline. Any Response sent to TxDOT personnel via email - whether directly, courtesy copy (cc), or blind copy (bcc) - will be invalid and will not be considered.

Evaluation

Responses will be evaluated as follows:

Subcontracting Plan

Respondent must submit a Subcontracting Plan with its Response.

Insurance

If selected as Vendor, Respondent must obtain the insurance coverage set forth in the Insurance Requirements prior to beginning Work and maintain such insurance coverage as required by the Contract.

Contract term

The initial term of the Contract shall be one year from the date the Contract has been signed by both TxDOT and Vendor. TxDOT may unilaterally renew the Contract for up to three successive one-year period(s) on the same terms and conditions as the then-current Contract.
