What the bid is for

Mesa Public Schools is requesting proposal submissions for the curriculum adoption for AP United States History.

Scope

Mesa Public Schools provides the following information to assist vendors in determining the compatibility of proposed digital curriculum products with the district's existing technology environment.

The district is not seeking replacement equipment or pricing for existing technology infrastructure as part of this request. Vendors must identify any technical requirements, compatibility limitations, additional software, licensing, or infrastructure modifications necessary to implement and support their proposed solution.

All proposed digital curriculum platforms and associated services are subject to technical review by MPS Information Systems and Instructional Technology.

**Demonstration access is required.** MPS requires vendors to provide fully functional demonstration access to their proposed digital curriculum solutions for evaluation by district personnel. Demonstration access must include the full proposed digital curriculum program, not a limited sample or a single grade level. Vendors must provide access for a minimum of 60 calendar days or another mutually agreed-upon evaluation period.

MPS utilizes Canvas as its district learning management system. Vendors must describe their product's compatibility and integration capabilities with Canvas and provide the necessary resources for district testing.

Vendors must identify supported authentication and account provisioning methods, and must identify which district device categories and operating systems are supported. Vendors must provide information regarding data encryption, security certifications, and student data collection, retention, sharing, and deletion practices. Student information must not be sold or used for targeted advertising.

Vendors must provide a current Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR), preferably using the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT), and identify conformance with applicable accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 Level AA or newer standards.

Vendors must disclose whether their proposed solution includes artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning, or automated decision-making capabilities.

Vendors must describe the technical resources and support necessary for successful implementation and ongoing operation.
