2026/27 Ford E-Transit Cargo Van

The El Dorado County Procurement & Contracts Division is requesting bids for purchase of One (1) New/Unused 2026/27 Ford E-Transit Cargo Van (Transit Long 350, Medium Roof 100.2”).

Vehicle and equipment quoted in this bid shall be following all provisions of the California Vehicle Code, State of California Division of Industrial Safety, and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

Vehicle shall be invoiced and titled to:

- County of El Dorado, 2443 Headington Road, Placerville, CA 95667

Bid pricing shall be inclusive of factory rebates and incentives, dealer charges including dealer preparation, delivery & DMV processing and fees (The County is exempt for DMV vehicle license fees). Applicable tire fee will be added to the purchase orders; bidders shall not include this fee on the bid Quotation Schedules.

Vehicle specifications are a general guideline. Minor deviations from these specifications may be accepted at the sole discretion of the County. Major exceptions, which, in the opinion of the County, affect the function of the vehicle, will not be accepted. Additional specifications are as follows:

1. Vehicle must be 100% electric.
2. A factory authorized service facility must be located within forty (40) miles of 2443 Headington Road, Placerville, CA 95667 (Fleet Services) for the make of the vehicle bid.
3. Vehicle equipment not specified on the bid but included standard on the vehicle shall be included at delivery at no additional charge.
4. Vehicle, wheels, and tires shall be able to accept tire or cable snow chains.
5. “Minimum” - Defined as only acceptable level of equipment at lowest level; quotes for “higher level” equipment will be accepted in these areas.

Product shall be delivered F.O.B. destination, freight prepaid, on ground or inside delivery to the following location at no cost to the county.

Bids may be submitted through PlanetBids or by hard copy in a sealed envelope. Sealed Bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the package with: “BID #2026-0153, DO NOT OPEN”.

Bids must be received in the Procurement & Contracts Division by **3:00 p.m., November 6, 2026**. Bids will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Telephone, facsimile, or emailed bids will NOT be accepted.

Bid prices shall be firm for a minimum of sixty (60) calendar days from the bid opening unless otherwise indicated on the bid form.

Bid price must remain in effect for a period of no less than ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening.

Unless specifically required on the bid form, a performance bond will NOT be required.

Bids will be evaluated based on meeting or exceeding minimum specifications. The bid may be awarded by grand total to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder complying with the provisions of the Invitation to Bid.

In accordance with Board Policy C-17, 2.12, effective August 18, 2026, the local vendor preference is 5%.
