IFB 08A4047, Elevator Maintenance in San Bernardino County

Contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, fees, permits, travel, and any incidentals necessary to perform preventive maintenance (PM), routine and non-routine elevator repairs, safety inspections, testing, examinations, adjustments, and lubrication for 10 elevators to Caltrans.

The services shall be performed at Caltrans District 8 facilities at 464 West 4th Street, San Bernardino, CA 92401, in San Bernardino County.

Refer to the Proposed Form of Agreement, Exhibit A, which is attached to this IFB, for a more complete description of services.

**Submission method:** All bids must be mailed or hand-delivered to Caltrans Division of Procurement and Contracts, Bid Unit, 1727 30th Street, 4th Floor, MS 65, Sacramento, CA 95816-7006. Bids received in electronic format will not be accepted. Late bids will not be considered.

**Final Date and Time for Bid Submission:** 11/17/2026 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). Bid opening is 2:30 p.m. via teleconference.

The total bid proposal must not exceed **$484,000.00**. The Agreement will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Bidder must hold a valid C-11 (Elevator Contractor) license and be a Certified Qualified Conveyance Company (CQCC). A copy of the CQCC certificate is **required** with the bid.

If the successful bidder's bid is $25,000 or more, the successful bidder shall furnish a Payment Bond for not less than 100 percent (100%) of the total account payable by the terms of this Agreement.

The awarded bidder will be requested to provide a Certificate of Insurance within 10 working days after notification of award.

An optional site inspection is scheduled at 10:00 a.m., 11/04/2026.
