Levy County Transit Forklift

Levy County is seeking bids from qualified and experienced companies for the purchase and delivery of one (1) new forklift.

It is the intent of Levy County to award a contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder to provide Levy County Transit Forklift. The County anticipates purchasing the item that is the subject of this ITB immediately upon award of this Bid by the Board of County Commissioners to a Contractor.

Levy County is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of one (1) new forklift with a minimum lifting capacity of 5,000 lbs. and a 24-inch load center. The forklift shall be LP gas-powered, equipped with pneumatic air-filled tires, 48-inch-long x 5-inch-wide x 16-inch-high forks, and an audible backup alarm. The bid price shall include all costs associated with the purchase and delivery to the County-designated location in Bronson, Florida. Bidders shall provide the make, model, and specifications of the proposed forklift and confirm that it meets all minimum requirements.

The awarded contractor ("Contractor") shall furnish and deliver the forklift to the County-designated delivery location in Bronson, Florida, within sixty (60) calendar days after the County issues a purchase order or executes the purchase agreement, whichever occurs later, unless a different delivery period is expressly stated in the executed agreement. The Contractor shall coordinate the delivery date and time with the County's designated representative. [...] Delivery shall include the keys, operator's manuals, maintenance documentation, warranty documentation, and other standard items supplied by the manufacturer with the equipment.

The bid price shall be a firm, fixed, all-inclusive price for the forklift and all work and items required under this Section. [...] The Contractor shall provide the manufacturer's written warranty applicable to the forklift, including the warranty term, coverage, exclusions, and procedures for obtaining warranty service.

**Submission method:** Levy County only accepts electronic submittals through OpenGov Procurement at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/levycounty/projects/319765. To submit a bid in response to this solicitation, the bidder must be registered with OpenGov. The bidder's complete bid must be uploaded in PDF format unless the ITB specifically states otherwise.

**Bid due date:** November 16, 2026, 9:00am. Any bid submitted after the due date and time (regardless of reason) will be rejected by the County.

Award of a contract shall be to the overall lowest responsive, responsible bidder whose bid meets or exceeds the requirements set forth in this ITB.

The documents listed within the Vendor Questionnaire must accompany any bid submitted. A bid submitted without the required documents may result in the County deeming the bid non-responsive.
