26ITB0921226K-CRB Abatement & Demolition Services for Fulton County Jail Project

Sealed Bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the abatement and demolition of the Bellwood Annex, Fulton County Accountability Court and Jefferson Place Transition Housing buildings located within the Fulton County Jail campus located at 901 Rice Street, N.W., Atlanta, GA 30318 must be electronically submitted to the Fulton County Department of Purchasing and Contract Compliance via BidNet Direct, no later than 11:00 a.m., local time, on Friday, November 20, 2026.

The scope of work includes demolition and removal of existing buildings, utilities, pavement, and other noted structures; identification, handling, abatement, removal, transportation, and lawful disposal of hazardous materials associated with the demolition activities, including, but not limited to, asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead-containing materials, hazardous coatings, and other regulated substances identified in the project documents or encountered during demolition; installation and maintenance of erosion and sedimentation control measures; clearing and grubbing of vegetation within designated disturbance limits; demolition debris removal and disposal; temporary stabilization; and all incidental work necessary to create the proposed green space for a future facility. The project site consists of approximately 32.86 acres, with an estimated 3.30 acres of disturbed area. Bidders shall provide pricing for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 as shown in the drawings as a single demolition package. All provisions of the project plans and specifications shall apply and shall be recognized by all bidders.

2. Jefferson Place Transition Housing, 1135 Jefferson Street, NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
3. Bellwood Annex, 1101 Jefferson Street, NW, Atlanta, GA 30318

Bid responses must be submitted electronically through **BidNet Direct**. The Bidder's firm must be a registered vendor with BidNet Direct in order to submit a response to this ITBC. Bidders shall **SUBMIT ONE (1) ORIGINAL, SIGNED AND DATED BID RESPONSE IN PDF FORMAT** on the forms provided in the Bid Document.

The County will conduct a **mandatory** guided tour of the facility site immediately following the Pre-Bid Conference. Only two (2) representatives from each firm will be allowed to participate as space is limited. Bidders who do not participate in the mandatory project site visit will be precluded from contract award.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond [...] in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of **100 percent** of the Bid, and proof of insurance in accordance with the requirements set forth in Section 5 of this Bid Document.
