Tuxedo Lane Drainage Improvement Project

The City of Peachtree City will be receiving separate sealed Bids for all material, labor and equipment for the "Tuxedo Lane & Smokerise Trace Drainage Improvements". This includes the following, with all related accessories as shown on the Construction Drawings and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications:

This project consists of the removal of select components of an existing 30" diameter CMP stormwater drainage system and installing a stormwater drainage system consisting of 825 LF of 30" diameter RCP, one drop inlet and five junction boxes. In addition, the project will also require the removal and replacement of an asphalt cart path, trench patching, existing structure modification and restriping of crosswalks.

This contract is locally funded.

The project shall be Substantially Complete within **60 calendar days** from the date of Notice to Proceed of the contract. The project shall be Final Complete within **30 calendar days** beyond Substantial Completion.

Submission

The City of Peachtree City will receive **sealed bids** until November 17, 2026/3:00 pm local time at 151 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. The contract will be awarded to the low, responsive, and responsible bidder with reservation of right to reject all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn by Bidders for 60 days following opening of the bids.

It is **mandatory** that all prospective bidders download the Project Manual and Construction Drawings from www.peachtree-city.org, then click on "Business", then doing business with the City.

Each Bidder is required to submit a "Construction Contractors Qualification Statement", "Bid Security", "Bid Form", Non-Collusion Affidavit", and "Security and Immigration Compliance Affidavit".

Bonds and damages

Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of **5%**. Agreement will require a Payment Bond in the amount of **110%**, and a Performance Bond in the amount of **100%** of the project cost.

Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of **$200.00 per day** for each calendar day required to achieve Substantial Completion. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of **$200.00 per day** for each calendar day required to achieve Final Completion.
