This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement for which the award will be limited to certified small business vendors.

Mechanical Replacement at Life Science Building at Baltimore City Community College.

The PO Contractor shall complete all construction work (consisting of both pre-construction activities and construction activities) within 1,095 consecutive calendar days, commencing on the start date stated in the Department's Notice to Proceed (the "Construction Duration").

The specifications include Division 22 – Plumbing, Division 23 – Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning, and Division 26 – Electrical.

The PROJECT CLASSIFICATION for this solicitation is: "D" ($1,000,000 to $2,500,000). The MBE subcontracting participation goal for this solicitation is: **15%**. The VSBE subcontracting participation goal for this Solicitation is: **1%**.

Builder's Risk Insurance is not required for this project. Bid prices are irrevocable for a period of 120 days following bid opening. Prevailing wage rates apply to contracts with a value of $250,000 or more. Liquidated damages are $750 per calendar day.
