Milk and Dairy Products

Frederick County, Maryland is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for the provision of milk and dairy products in accordance with the terms, conditions and specification of this solicitation.

The County intends to make award; effectively to the lowest bidding responsive and responsible Contractor. The contract period shall be for one (1) year(s) commencing on or about on or around January 1, 2027 after approval and proper execution of the contract documents, with a renewal option for four (4) additional years in one-year increments, exercisable at the sole discretion of the County.

**Submission:** Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Bids are submitted through https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/frederickcountymd/projects/316403. Registration will take two (2) business days.

**Award:** The County intends to make award; effectively to the lowest bidding responsive and responsible Contractor.

**Qualifications:** Contractors must be engaged in supply of milk and dairy products and shall have been actively engaged in this field for a minimum of three (3) years.

**Bonds:** Bid Deposit, Performance Bond and Payment Bond are not applicable.

**Payment Terms:** Net 30.

**Agreement Term:** one (1) year, with a renewal option for four (4) additional years in one-year increments, exercisable at the sole discretion of the County.

Proposals shall be irrevocable for 120 days following the proposal opening date.

The awarded Contractor(s) will be required to return an Insurance Certificate naming Frederick County as an additional insured, the executed Agreement, and the Maryland Registration Certificate of Good Standing.
