New York City Health + Hospitals is soliciting construction bids (includes all trades) for the Power and Cooling Upgrade at NYC H+H | South Brooklyn Hospital. Project ID No.: 02201602. Contract No.: 16-2027-013.

The technical specifications cover the following divisions:

• Division 01 - General Requirements: administrative requirements, submittal procedures, product requirements, execution and closeout requirements, construction waste management and disposal.
• Division 21 - Fire Suppression: common work results, pipes and tubes, general-duty valves, hangers, supports and anchors, wet-pipe sprinkler systems.
• Division 23 - HVAC: general mechanical requirements, scope of HVAC work, pipes and tubes, general-duty valves, hangers and supports, identification, testing, adjusting and balancing, HVAC insulation, direct-digital control system, sequence of operations for HVAC controls, hydronic piping specialties, HVAC water treatment.
• Division 26 - Electrical: general electrical requirements, inspection and tests, selective demolition, low-voltage power conductors and cables, grounding and bonding, hangers and supports, conduits, raceways and boxes, identification, panelboards, electrical cabinets and enclosures, wiring devices, fuses, enclosed switches and circuit breakers, transfer switches.

The bid documents include the *Information for Bidders*, *Construction Contract*, *General Conditions*, and *Technical Specifications*. The *Information for Bidders* covers the time and place for receipt of bid, form and presentation of bids, bid security, withdrawal of bid, qualification of bidders, rejection of bids, award of contract, and execution of the contract performance and payment bond.

The work is covered by the *2021 NYC Health + Hospitals Renovation Project Labor Agreement* (Effective Date November 1, 2021), which requires that all successful bidders and their subcontractors of all tiers become bound by, and signatory to, the agreement, including by signing a *Letter of Assent*.
