Remove & Replace Duct Heater

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide Old Duct Heater Removal and Replacement with New Unit services at 1 (One) DART Facility listed below.

This opportunity will be awarded to one vendor offering the lowest acceptable pricing. All vendors must meet all the requirements in the Scope of Work (SOW) in order to be considered responsive.

The purpose of this Statement of Work is to replace nonoperational gas-fired heaters located in the Rail TES Shop at 3021 Oak Lane, Dallas, Texas, 75226.

Project Description & Deliverables

Replace nonfunctional gas-fired heaters in:

- TES Shop – One (1) heater

Deliverables:

• (1) 150,000 Btu/hr. gas-fired unit heater
• Disconnection and removal of existing heaters
• Installation of new units using existing infrastructure
• Reconnection of gas, electrical, venting, and control wiring
• Cleanup of work area and disposal of removed equipment

Requirements

• All replacement heaters must meet or exceed the performance of existing units.
• Contractor must provide certified technicians.
• All necessary equipment, tools, and materials must be provided by the contractor.
• Work must comply with OSHA, DART Safety Protocols, and manufacturer standards.

Schedule

Work is expected to be completed within one business day, pending parts availability and coordination with DART maintenance personnel.

Final Deliverables

• Fully installed and operational heater units
• Functional testing and verification
• Service report documenting work performed, testing results, and recommendations

Acceptance Criteria

• Full installation of all heaters and thermostats
• Successful operational testing
• Service report submitted and approved
• Confirmation by DART Maintenance that systems operate as expected

All purchase orders are subject to Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority's Terms and Conditions. DART's payment terms are Net 30.

Freight: all bids/quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with the freight cost included in the overall price.
