The City of Fort Worth ("City") is conducting market research to understand the current marketplace for purchasing software products from various publishers, and is particularly interested in hearing from vendors with established business operations in the City of Fort Worth or in Denton, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant, or Wise counties.
The City currently obtains software licensing and subscription services through a variety of contracting methods including direct contracts with software publishers, public solicitations, and cooperative contracts such as those offered by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR).
The following is a preliminary, high-level description and is subject to change. The City may procure some or all of these elements, together or separately:
The City currently uses products from the software publishers listed below. For each publisher your firm can support, describe how you would fulfill the requirement. [...] Listing a publisher does not mean the City has decided to buy from that publisher, and the City may combine or separate these publishers in any future solicitation.
Please organize your response using the section and question numbers below. Answer "N/A" where not applicable. Partial responses are welcome, especially from firms able to perform only a portion of the requirement.
Priority sections: no more than 10 pages, excluding Part A, the Publishers of Interest table, and the cover page. Total response: no more than 15 pages, excluding marketing materials.
Format: One searchable PDF, organized by Part and question number. Product brochures may be included as an appendix and do not count toward the suggested page limit.
Follow-Up: The City may request clarification or invite respondents to brief one-on-one virtual sessions or product demonstrations. Such sessions are for information only and do not constitute negotiations or create any preference in a future procurement.
This RFI/Sources Sought notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation, contract, or commitment by the City of Fort Worth to issue a future procurement.
