Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received electronically before 3:00pm on Monday, November 16, 2026, for Shade Shelter for Redmond Park as requested by the City of Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Department.

Firm fixed price for the purchase and delivery of Shade Shelter materials - City staff will construct a four-sided ribbed steel roof & tubular steel frame shelter, 20'x24'.

• 20' wide x 24' long, gable end tubular steel frame
• Ribbed steel roof with 2x6 tongue and groove decking beneath
• Building shall have an 18-inch to 2.0' eave on all sides
• Color chosen by owner upon selection
• Pricing shall include all materials, signed & sealed drawings by an Iowa licensed engineer, and shipping to destination

The City will only accept bids submitted through the City’s Online E-Procurement portal system (Euna Procurement, powered by IonWave). Email, fax or hard copy Submittals are not acceptable.

Bids will be opened on Monday, November 16, 2026 at 3P:00pm CST (our clock). [...] Bids may be withdrawn any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids; no bid may be modified or withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days thereafter.

Award shall be made to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid with regard to the specifications set forth herein.

Vendor, at its own expense, shall procure and maintain workers compensation, general liability and automobile liability insurance so as to cover risks which shall arise directly or indirectly from Vendor’s obligations and activities.
