DFCM Construction - Prequalified Mechanical Stage II - Administrative Office of the Courts - Layton Court AHU Replacement - Project #27339150

The State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids from Stage II Prequalified Mechanical Contractors for Construction services for the following project. Contractors not prequalified through the Stage I Request for Statement of Qualifications process are not eligible to bid on this project.

Layton Court AHU Replacement, Administrative Office of the Courts, 425 Wasatch Dr. Layton, UT 84041.

Brief Project Description: Replace AHU, and Split AC unit.

Construction Budget:** **$425,000.00

Scope of Work

• Replace one RTU (integrated into BAS) and one cooling-only split system. Provide a DFCM-standard equipment curb and connect a new roof hydrant to domestic water piping.
• All roof modifications must be performed by a Carlisle and DFCM-certified contractor to maintain the current roof warranty.
• Work after hours/weekends to minimize occupant disruption. Contractor must maintain building temperature setpoints during business hours.
• All personnel must submit a BCI background check before arriving on site.

Bids must be submitted via the U3P website no later than the time and date specified on the Solicitation Schedule. Contractors attempting to submit a bid through U3P website after the bid deadline has passed will not be successful and therefore disqualified from consideration of award of this project.

The Contract award will go to the Contractor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid.

A bid bond properly signed by the Contractor and a qualified surety and submitted on the AIA Document A310 – 2010 Bid Bond form in the amount of **5% of the bid**, or equivalent, must accompany the bid submitted within U3P.

All Contractors are required to submit their DFCM Subcontractors List Form to dfcmcontracts@utah.gov by the time and date specified on the Solicitation Schedule.

**Substantial Completion Date:** March 22, 2027

**Liquidated Damages:** $1,000.00 per day

A mandatory meeting will be held on the date and time and at the location specified on the Solicitation Schedule.
