Apache Junction Community Room Addition

The project consists of constructing a new 8,000SF 2 story building comprised of steel structure and masonry walls along with site development including site utilities, parking and landscaping. The purpose of this project is to provide a community space for the public as well as County staff.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SEALED BIDS shall be received on the above referenced Project by Pinal County, hereinafter "Pinal", until 2:00 PM MST (Arizona) on December 15, 2026 for the Scope of Work set forth below.

The project consists of constructing a new 8,000SF 2 story building comprised of steel structure and masonry walls along with site development including site utilities, parking and landscaping. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to completely construct the proposed project in strict conformity and in accordance with the design plans and specifications prepared for Pinal County by Swan Architects and their Associated Firms. The work is to be accomplished in a good and workmanlike and substantial manner and to the satisfaction of the Pinal County Facilities Management Director and of the Architect/Engineer of Record. This work shall be accomplished in accordance with the standards of the Industry in use at the time of the signing of this contract.

All Work shall commence within ten (10) calendar days from the issuance date of the written "Notice to Proceed" and be completed within **FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY (420) calendar days** from the issuance date of the written "Notice to Proceed".

The new building will physically connect to an adjacent existing building. [...] Provide an allowance in the Base Bid of FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS (**$400,000.00**) for Owner approved construction changes.

Every bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security payable to Pinal County for **ten percent** of the amount of the total Bid Price by certified check or cashier's check drawn on a responsible bank doing business in the State of Arizona or by surety bond acceptable to Pinal County. No bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by the required Bid Security.

AT THE TIME OF SUBMITTAL OF A SEALED BID, AND AT ALL TIMES DURING THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS CONTRACT, BIDDER SHALL BE APPROPRIATEDLY LICENSED CONTRACTOR IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA TO PERFORM THE WORK AS IDENTIFIED IN THE INVITATION FOR BID.

The successful bidder shall furnish to Pinal a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the full contract amount, and shall obtain the required insurance and furnish proof of insurance.

Bids shall be publically opened and read publically on December 15, 2026 at 2:05 PM MST (Arizona). The bid opening will be held via Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/hpf-fuct-fxp

Every bid shall remain irrevocable and subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the date for the opening of the bids.
